A magnificent stately home which is set in beautiful grounds makes this an ideal wedding venue. The location provides stunning wedding photography, with a mixture of lawns, flower gardens and Mansion House backdrops. Panoramic views over the city on hot summer's evenings makes twilight wedding photography a must.
The Mansion House has been fully restored and your function room has all the grandeur of a state wedding, with lofty wood panelled ceilings and neutral cream walls. The house is light and airy created by a wall of large sash windows, which let the light flood into the venue. Therefore photography of your speeches is very easy and natural, at most a little fill flash is all that is required.
The food is good traditional food. It is great value for money. Ashton Court does not hold itself out as providing "Nouvelle cuisine" and that's no bad thing. Instead it offers a good selection of hearty food.
